You can change tour details in both online and offline mode.  In online mode, you can update data through the aadhar website by following simple steps. But in the offline mode, you must change your details in aadhar centers and send it through the postal service.

In the online mode, you need to log in using your aadhar enrollment number and registered mobile number on UIDAI website. It is also known as Aadhar Card Online Self Service Update Portal.         Having mobile number is necessary to update your details on online. Because, The UIDAI will send an OTP to your mobile, which is the one-time PIN for your login. If you can’t access mobile number which you use for registration, you need request it through the post. Steps to update address on Aadhar card online

  • First of all, visit the official page of aadhar card i.e. https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/update
  • Enter the 12 digit aadhar enrollment number in your aadhar card.
  • Fill the details that needed for text verification.
  • Then, click on “Send OTP” to get the one-time password for login.
  • In a few seconds, you will an OTP to you registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP in the password field.
  • Click on “Address Change” to update or change your address.
  • Choose your language.
  • Upload any scanned copy of address proof.
  • Click “Yes” to confirm your request.

After completion of the request, you will get an URN number to your mobile. Save this number to track your aadhar card status and future reference.
